These students are preparing an experiment in which they will try to determine if yeasts give off oxygen or carbon dioxide.  They are mixing 15 grams of sugar, 200 milliliters of water, and a spoonful of yeast in a sealable plastic bag.  We'll try to identify the gas that is produced in the bags when we meet again.
