These students are beginning an experiment in which they will grow bread mold to learn about fungi and decomposers.  They were instructed to cut out two circles of bread, and then to rub one of the bread circles on dusty places around the room.  The other bread circle they kept as clean as possible. They added a few drops of water to each circle, and they were careful to add the same number of drops to each circle.  They put the bread circles into separate containers and left the containers in a warm dark spot. It's a good experiment and a great way to clean the room!
