These students "created" birds on a Web site published by a bird sanctuary.  They selected  heads, bodies, and feet adapted for different purposes.   As they did so, the computer generated an amalgamated image of the parts to create a bird.   This activity ties in with our Bird Cafe class and Bird Bill Classifying.
