Now that these students have added equators to their pumpkin globes, they are learning to identify the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.  First they worked with their pumpkins, then they applied their new skills to the globes of the earth.  They traced the equator of the earth with a green marker to aid them in identifying hemispheres.
