     These students are learning to identify features such as seas, gulfs, peninsulas, archipelagos, and straits on globes of the earth.  And they looked for gulfs and peninsulas on their pumpkin globes. We used Google Earth to help us with this.  In the next class, they'll add archipelagos to their pumpkin globes and try to create seas with their islands.
