They're Thinking!

     These students are learning about the cardinal directions.
     Previously they learned about north and south.  Today (and last Friday) they learned about east and west.   They added arrows to their pumpkins to show east and west.  And then they applied these skills on globes of the earth.
     They used toy figures (dinosaurs) to help them determine the meanings of east and west--they were challenge to figure this out for themselves.
