Observing Water Vapor
They're Thinking!
They've Got It!

These students are learning about matter.   They are using  rubber gloves as containers to help them observe different states of matter.  Solids keep one shape and don't spread out.  Liquids take the shapes of their containers, but do not spread out to fill their containers.  Gases take the shapes of their containers, and spread out to fill their containers. We also used peppermint oil to help us observe how a gas spreads out to fill the room.
