     These students have learned to use a balance to measure mass, and now they are making surprising discoveries about mass. 
     In some of these pictures, the students are trying to determine how many cotton balls equal the mass of one large metal bolt after first determining that the mass of each cotton ball equaled about 1/2 gram.
     In other pictures, they are using balloons to determine if air has mass.
